Back in the year 2000, Wilson Alvarez invested in clever domain names within the Miami area. Years later when he became active in the business community & chamber events, he also came up with a brilliant idea of having a calendar of events posted for all business organizations to avoid any scheduling conflicts among the many groups in our communities.  This concept has been managed for the past few years by my friend & business partner Mr. Ed Gorin, and that initial concept was a tremendous success.  In August 2008, Mr. Gorin retired and the calendar lained dormant. Several business organizations called out to Wilson to continue the legacy that Ed managed all this time. MiamiBusiness.com led by Mr. Alvarez has taken over the calendar and scheduling without and further delay with Ed’s blessing and now as of September 2008, we at MiamiBusiness.com will be managing the curriculum postings. 

The original vision and mission for MiamiBusiness.com has always been to join forces with all the business organizations as if to say “holding hands” together as separate community organizations under one roof.  Our purpose is to collaborate and share ideas and create an atmosphere of a united group of individuals striving to be the best they can be for their communities as well as for the business’s alike.
